It allows IT administrators to define, distribute, and enforce security policies, system settings, and operational rules across all managed endpoints: Windows, macOS, and Linux from a single centralized console.

A Configuration Profile is a reusable policy bundle that packages one or more configuration settings (such as Firewall rules, BitLocker encryption, USB device control, or application restrictions) and can be deployed to any device or group across your organization.

Whether you manage 10 devices or 10,000, Zecurit’s profile-based approach ensures every endpoint stays consistent, compliant, and secure without manual intervention.

What is a Configuration Profile?

A Configuration Profile in Zecurit is a named, versioned collection of settings that defines how a device should behave. Each profile can contain one or more policy types — for example, a “Security Baseline” profile might include Firewall rules, BitLocker enforcement, and Device Control settings bundled together.

Profiles can be applied to individual devices or to Groups, and they are version-controlled, meaning every change is tracked and you can see exactly which version is running on each endpoint.

Profile Types Available in Zecurit

Zecurit supports the following profile types for Windows endpoints (with platform-specific options for macOS and Linux):

BitLocker – Enforce drive encryption policies across Windows devices.

Device Control – Manage USB, Bluetooth, and removable media access.

Application Control – Whitelist or blacklist applications by name, path, or hash.

Power Management – Configure sleep, hibernate, shutdown, and Wake-on-LAN settings.

Deploy Script – Push PowerShell, Bash, Python, or batch scripts to endpoints.

Deploy Software – Automate software installation, update, or removal.

Firewall – Define inbound/outbound traffic rules and enforce firewall status.

User Management – Create or manage local user accounts and group memberships.

Windows Update Policy – Control when and how Windows Updates are applied.

Navigation – Where to Find Profile Management

Profile Management is located under the Manage section in the left-hand navigation sidebar.

Path: Manage → Configurations → Create Profile

Create Profile – Opens the profile creation wizard to define a new configuration policy.

Profiles – Lists all existing profiles with status, version history, and association details.

["post-3016","docs","type-docs","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry
["GET
