Device Locations Map

The main feature is a real-time global map accessible via Inventory → Device Locations. This map gives you an overview of all your managed endpoints.

• Quick View: Hover over a pin to see the device name.
• Full Details: Click a pin to see the device name, logged in user, address, IP address and last contact time.
• Location History: If enabled you can see a device’s location history from the map.

Geo Location Settings

You can customize Geo Tracking to fit your organization's needs by going to Inventory → Settings → Geo Location.

• Enable/Disable: Turn the feature on or off.
• Targeting: Apply tracking to All Devices, Selected Groups, or All Except Selected Groups.
• Location History: Optionally enable historical data retention with options for 7, 15, 30, 60, or 90 days. This is a crucial feature for compliance and auditing.

How to Track Company Laptops and IT Assets

Step 1: Enable Native Location Services on Devices

Windows 10/11:

1. Navigate to Settings → Privacy & Security → Location

2. Toggle on "Location services"

3. Toggle on "Allow apps to access your location"

4. Ensure the Zecurit Agent has location access enabled

macOS (Monterey, Ventura, Sonoma):
