What’s a Scheduled Scan?

Scheduled Scanning in Zecurit lets IT administrators automate inventory data collection from managed devices at set times. This keeps your asset database up-to-date without needing any manual work from you.

Why are Scheduled Scans Important?

Scheduling scans is crucial because it:

  • Keeps data current: Ensures your hardware, software, certificate and license data is always fresh.
  • Detects changes: Automatically spots unauthorized changes across your devices.
  • Saves effort: Reduces manual work and makes data collection consistent.
  • Aids compliance: Provides regular updates essential for security and compliance audits.
  • Supports alerts: Powers policy-based alerting with the very latest inventory information.
